Christmas Deco @ Orchard

Actually, i wan to update tis blog entry on Sunday... but i end up going for my 18 hrs of sleeping... Heehee...

Heard from my colleagues, saying abt the christmas deco at Orchard for tis year. The lamp-post banner for tis year, appear to be veri impressive... Therefore, i went down to Orchard last sunday wif my camera.



Indeed, i'm impressed by tis year lamp-post banner, hanging at the whole stretch of Orchard. I bet it should be more den 400 over pcs... For u plp, u may not noe, how expensive tis one single banner may cost. It is so damn expensive, which i won't be surprise, if u tell mi it cost three times a normal banner's cost. Tat whole piece, is a mesh cut-out, wif form board attached to the top & bottom of it. Wif vinyl cut-out text pasted on the form. The most impressive part r the musical instruments, pasted at the center of the banner. They r actually being DIE-CUT... I do see some silverly lining sticked to the edge of the musical instrument, n to the edge of the banner. I bet it has to do something wif the lightnings. Imagine, when the lights r switched on, the whole stretch of road, look impressively sparkling...



Center Point, the Xmas deco inside their building, r plainly nothing... The onli impressive part, can onli be found at the building outside, where u will see M&M smarties decorations... Look good, but definitely can't be champ as the most impressive Xmas deco in Orchard.

Scotts shopping centre... done by my company. Which the color theme, is mainly pink & purple... A bit nice lah... but looks weird to mi, for celebrating a Purpish Xmas...

Tangs... Disappointing... I juz walk past their entrance... n saw these bronze looking metal gates outside... The ceiling got something lah(Can't remember wats tat liao), which the color is veri dull... Look Rome-like to mi, which is something i dunno how to apprecipate...

See the outer look of Wisma & Taka... Ultimately disappointing... The deco found at their outside... reali lack of innovation & creativity...





If u judge all shopping malls at Orchard by their outer appearance... Paragon definitely wins the competition. Their BIG RED christmas tree outside... Look so fantastic to mi. It looks even more impressive, when u wait till night falls, the lightings on the tree switch on... Wow... So beautiful...





Taka building oso hve one BIG christmas tree inside their building. Look veri beautiful, n almoz similar to the previous year. But one thing... they should put tis outside... To show off their christmas tree to other shopping malls...









Hereen's deco is oso not bad for tis year. Few mightly looking black statues can be seen at the outside of Hereen... Providing good spots & scene for plp to take pictures. At the inside of Hereen, it was decorated mainly wif life-size puppets... All these puppets r designed by famous desigers, which some i reali find it amazing...

I guess all the shopping malls in Orchard hvn't fully install their decos for christmas yet. Juz wait for another one week to see wat other better deco awaits for us.
