Thick skin...
For those plp tat hve been a common reader of my blog, will noe tat my previous manager, the manager tat hired mi into tis company, is a total failure person... Slack, irresponsible, dishonest, good acting skills... I can't used the word "lazy" to describe him, coz sometimes, he uses his acting skills to cover up for his laziness...
Due to his poor commitment to the department and to the company, boss made an agreement wif him, n ask him to leave... Anyway, i believe at tat time, he will be too happy to leave, coz he took up some part time jobs, which he claimed he earned 2K monthly from those jobs... So i believe, hving or not hving his manager job, wun affect him so much, since during his last few weeks in the company, he making on-n-off turning up in the company, meaning getting quite many days of salary kana deducted (Almoz half of his monthly salary)... Somemore, on those days tat he come, he oso not helping much, trying to take the easy way out during those hours...
Toking until so much now... U plp should realise my tis ex-manager is not in my department liao... Yet on Monday tis week, when i reached the company, out of sudden i hear tis news spreading, saying him will be coming back... My face turn bad... WTF he come back for... Yes, ur department working strength now is so poor... Jeremy had tendered... And ur manpower is veri low... Everyone is working veri tired recently... For the last wkend, i even hve to come back on Sunday to do a Science Centre Tender for Xmas/CNY... Tis makes mi doing sunday work for two consecutive wkends liao... The strength now is poor, but i rather ask to hire one new guy come in rather den hve him back... If he come back, and like usual not doing or helping anything, he basically juz occupying one head count for the department, yet not helping us out... Wat for... Perhaps u plp may say i'm too cruel to tok so badly abt my ex-manager... Back to the fact, he is still the one tat once gave mi basic training be4... SO! My colleagues (From all 3 departments) r all toking abt tis, on y he is coming back...
For his outside part time jobs, there is one, which he need to invite his friends to join dunno wat club, perhaps in turn getting some benefits back or something for himself... He actually tok my department's last two joining members' profiles, from the form they fill in to apply into the company... He tok their particulars and apply as members for them into the club, without their acknowledgement... Does tis sounds something tat is not veri correct... Somehow or rather it is abit "illegal"... Luckily at tat time, mi, belonging quite to the older batch of plp, my form is no longer in tat file liao... Else, i may actually get myself joining dunno wat club without my awareness...
And here is the funny thing... I doubt my boss is the one calling him firstly to call him to come back... I doubt my boss will do tis lor... So it should be the other way, he calling back to boss to ask if he can come back... Yet, there is tis suspend tat whether or not will he be coming back, he can onli give boss the final answer on Thursday... Stupid n insincere rite... U hve earn quite a bad reputation for urself in the company liao, yet ur skin can be so thick to ask coming back... Stupid...
Hearing the news of him "WILL" (Wrong spread of rumour at tat time, it should be "MAY") come back to work again on Monday did make mi feel unhappy abt it... Yet, when i start doing stuffs, i temporaily forget the hell of tat thing... Den at ard 9++pm, an sms came from boss, an reassuring sms, saying regardless tat ex-manager coming back anot, will not affect wat he promised mi... I am like "haha", cackling wif a weak smile...
