Haiz... my mood for tis week is totally sucks...
I start wif a rather okie mood on Monday, but the mood turned 180 degrees from Tuesday onwards...
I did something wrong, n result the sales to argue wif the clients... Although for tis mistake, i can argue wif them, n i stand 50-50 winning... But no point lah... since they argue until quite a hot stage liao... So wat exactly happen...???
On Tuesday nitz, a client came down at nitz wif a artwork. The proof we printed to them previously, their designer complain n requested to change artwork. Thus, tis client will be coming down at nitz to pass the new artwork to mi, for mi to replace the existing artwork. The client tat came down, is a rather old "Ah Pei"... I ask him if he noe wat to change... he everything say dunno, n says tat he is not the one to say approve or not... He juz say his designer dunno say wat the blend is not right blah blah blah... I oso dunno wat he is saying. I assume tat they onli wan mi to print a proof using the new artwork to show them next morning. For a banner, usually they have top bottom traced design, then a picture at the center. So i tot onli changes to the pic. So i onli replace ur existing link for tat pic, wif the new pic tat they gave mi at the nitz. Anyway, the client shouldn't send someone tat dunno anything abt design to come to talk to us, asking for changes blah blah blah... Tat "Ah Pei" can actually keep asking mi if i can give them color bar for tat pic anot... How can i give color bar for a pic...??? If tat is a traced clip art or traced logo... i can give u color bar for the colors to be used lah... Tat nitz i was like palying piano to a cow... Haiz...
Then next day, when i came into office... my colleague told mi my mistake... he say the client gave mi a *.ai file, n i should use tat, coz the bottom design they gave is different from the previous one tat they gave us... I am shocked... Honestly said, in the first place, i didn't even tink tat they may actually make changes to the bottom design as well. All along, i onli tot tat they onli request to make replacement to their center artwork... So LL lor... juz accept it is my fault n my mistake lor, resulting the sales to quarrel wif the client one whole afternoon. Actually tis thing is veri small problem, but they quarrel is becoz money is involved, n the client is required to pay extra money if they want to make changes to the artwork again after they hve approve on the final design. Wat a world, n wat a day for mi during wednesday... Mood is totally ruined...
January is a buzz month for mi. February is veri relax, due to Chinese New Year festival. And now, for tis month, it become buzz again. Juz for tis week, i hve clocked 18 hrs of OT liao... Work like siao... n veri little time to sleep liao... Next week will be a buzz week as well... Coz i hve (Is my artwork n design for Police Academy) 2000 banners to print... yet some bitch may wan to cut queue to print her 440 of theft banners first. Wat the F***!
There is onli one thing tat i can consider as lucky for tis week. My dept wants to hire one more nitz shift person. The last two candidates left tat my head may be considering to hire either one, is.... I juz dun feel good if i am to work wif them... One is too old liao... teh other one... errr.... no comments... Luckily, my head finally decide to reject both of them... He finds it too risky to hire them, as they may "run" away veri fast...
