A Chinese Tall Story (Review) / 2006 Coming...
Movie Review Again...
Title : A Chinese Tall Story

Love Scoring : A-
Plot : B(Simple)
Animation : B+ to B- (Varies... Coz some impress mi, some made mi feel disappointed...)
Cold Jokes : B+
Starting Scene Feel : A- (How i feel when watching the starting scenes...)
Ending Feel : B+ (How i fair on its ending...)
Some may be tinking tis will turn out to be a lame n lousy movie, juz like BUG ME NOT. However... the outcome is different.
I went to see tis movie, becoz i wan to see how good can tis movie do in saying lame jokes thru-out. In the end, tis movie did not let mi down. Not onli did tis movie make mi laugh alot thru-out, the love romances string it planted is oso remarkable.
The funny part :
Tripitaka(Nicholas Tse) is a lady-boy in the story. Almoz cry for nothing. Tis Tripitaka adopted the same character as the Tripitaka in Zhong Xin Chi's movie. He is so nagging tat even his eldest disciple, Monkey King Sun Wukong, got so feed up tat he used a CANE to whack him ard the plp... Den tis Tripitaka crouched at one side, crying... When he lift his head up to see Sun, he saw Sun holding a BIG candy stick... Den he says : "Dun tink u can tease mi back wif a BIG candy stick..." The way he speaks is so funny n lame...
Tripitaka is so nagging at one part tat Prime Minister Turtle from East Sea killed himself after getting so feed up listening to Tripitaka's reasoning... Haha...
In tis movie, Tripitaka fall in love wif a ugly lizard imp, Meiyan(Charlene Choi). Tis imp, seriously had the problem, tinking tat the plp tat look into her eyes, r all trying to seduce her. Even Tripitaka got so feed up instead when toking to her at first. Haha...
Tis movie featured fights among Celestial Beings, Devils & Demons and New Century People from outer space. Haha... A lot of graphics animations r used to showcase these blasting effects.
The Love :
Everyone should noe tat Monk can't fall in love wif any gals... So if u watch tis movie, u got to be prepared the ending is surely not boy & gal together. Meiyan made a promise to Tripitaka, n she keep to her promise. But she says, if Tripitaka ever leave her again, she shall never return back to be wif him again. And indeed, Tripitaka left her after realised tat Meiyan cheated him. But he never tink deeply tat those r actually white lies. And when Tripitaka wans to find back Meiyan, Meiyan had already sacrificed herself by taking blame for Tripitaka.
In the end, Buddha appeared(Lousy animation), n offered Tripitaka two choices(I tink). The idea is something like tis. If u r given wif onli two choices... One is forever separated from ur lover, or two, to be forever wif ur lover, but things r going to be veri different from now onwards. Which one will u choose den.
Tis movie movie, is not a disappointing one. At least, it is a ending which i can accept.

As commented by Faith, i shall onli be playing Chinese NewYear songs during the whole month of Jaunary, in order to match nicely wif my BG. Heehee...
